CLOWN BOSS Chad Damiani (Stand Up and Clown, Stamptown) illustrates the fundamental principles of LA clown in this one-day intensive that focuses on creating pieces based on discoveries made in front of an audience. SUPERCHARGER itself is an exercise in clown devising. Students are live directed through a rapid-fire series of exercises in the first half – inspiring what they build together in the second.
Good for artists of all kinds, including actors, improvisers, stand-ups and anyone interested in generating work from a place of curiosity and play.

CLOWN BOSS Chad Damiani is one of the architects of the modern LA clown scene. His unique approach to the work has been featured in New York Magazine, The LA and New York Times, Paris Review, NPR and PBS.

Parking: Enter the main entrance to Urban Community School on W. 47th Street, south of Lorain Ave. Follow the driveway to the main oval parking lot in front of the red tower. You can park in any space marked with a green square. You can then follow the sidewalk to Lorain Ave. You will see Imposters directly across Lorain Ave. from the school.
