Parking: Enter the main entrance to Urban Community School on W. 47th Street, south of Lorain Ave. Follow the driveway to the main oval parking lot in front of the red tower. You can park in any space marked with a green square. You can then follow the sidewalk to Lorain Ave. You will see Imposters directly across Lorain Ave. from the school

About Deena Nyer Mendlowitz

Deena Nyer Mendlowitz is an improviser, a stand-up comedian, a playwright, an educator, and a mental health advocate. Deena has been performing and teaching comedy for over 20 years and has trained at The Second City Cleveland and at both The Second City and Annoyance Theater in Chicago. In 2024 and 2025 she was named Best Improv Comedy Performer at The Cleveland Comedy Awards and in 2025, Scene Magazine named her as one of best comics in Cleveland. Her work has been featured on NPR and in USA Today, Kveller, and the Disability Torah Project.

Deena has performed comedy and storytelling at theaters and clubs all over and is the creator of This Improvised Life and Mental Illness and Friends, two shows that focus on real life stories, comedy, and community. Deena performs, teaches, and coaches improv regularly at Imposters Theater.
