Make Big Choices: Advanced Improv Workshop with Shane Nielson (UCB Asssscat) - 09/24/25
As improvisors, the choices we make on stage define what kind of player we are. We'll work on pushing past predictable ideas to surprise the audience, our scene partners, and ourselves! We'll also talk about the restraints we place on our own choices and how we can break out of those.

Prerequisites: Completed Improv Level 2 at Imposters Theater or equivalent experience elsewhere. 18+ unless otherwise approved by the instructor. Email info at imposterstheater dot com with questions about eligibility.

Parking: Enter the main entrance to Urban Community School on W. 47th Street, south of Lorain Ave. Follow the driveway to the main oval parking lot in front of the red tower. You can park in any space marked with a green square. You can then follow the sidewalk to Lorain Ave. You will see Imposters directly across Lorain Ave. from the school.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Shane Nielsen is a performing member of many of the top improv institutions in NYC including: Raaaatscraps, Asssscat, Rumpleteaser Musical Improv, and The Prophecy on UCB's Harold Night. He recently graduated from the Stella Adler Summer Evening Acting Conservatory. He also writes and makes dramatic, serious videos on TikTok as a part of @BrandonAndShane.
