TRACY CUBBAL

Tracy Cubbal is a performer, instructor, and coach who has studied improvisation at the Second City, iO, and Annoyance training centers in Chicago. She has performed at venues including the Columbus Unscripted Improv Festival, the Del Close Marathon, the Detroit Improv Festival, Phoenix’s Torch Theatre, and the San Diego Improv Festival. Directing credits include Northeast Ohio’s longest-running improv troupe, Point of No Return Improv, as well as the River Side Valley Players, with whom she developed the signature form As Seen on TV: The Improvised Reality Show.

Tracy is privileged to direct Imposters’ short form house team Improv Game Night in collaboration with producer and partner in crime Alex Heckman. She currently practices ensemble-based long form with Judgement Free Tailor Shop, an international virtual team coached by the legendary Liz Allen.

Tracy graduated as a Phi Beta Kappa from The College of Wooster and earned an M.A. in industrial/organizational psychology from The University of Akron. She is a behavioral health specialist and chemical dependency counselor working towards a Registered Drama Therapist credential through the North American Drama Therapy Association. She enjoys long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners, and smashing the patriarchy.
