Dionne Atchison

Dionne D. Atchison is a local actress, comedian, writer, and social advocate. She graduated from Ohio University in ‘08 with a BFA in Theater Performance. During her time there, she was able to study Theater in London, England and was one of the founding members of the improv group, Black Sheep Inc.

Since moving to Cleveland, she has performed and wrote in various productions with Cleveland Public Theater plus was an Educational instructor.  Currently she is one of the many instructors and Rec League coaches with Imposters Theater. You can see her in various groups such as Imposters Society, This Improvised Life,  Mischief LLC, Back in the Day, and the duo Cash Only, who were nominated for best improv group in the 2024 Cleveland Comedy Awards.

As a social advocate for Mental health, she contributes to the live comedy talk show Mental Illness and Friends with her segment, 'For Real Tho with Dionne'. She is currently creating a show for POC in the improv community and those who wish to be involved. Also she's pretty f*cking sweet.
