Announcing Imposters 2025 Mainstage Sketch Show - Actor Auditions
Auditions will take place Saturday, July 26th between 3:30-5:30pm at 4828 Lorain Avenue in Ohio City, Cleveland.
Submissions are open to anyone, regardless of previous involvement with Imposters Theater. There are limited audition spots. If you are invited to audition, you will receive a confirmation email by Thursday July 24th with your audition time.

You should prepare a 1-2 minute character monologue. It can be an original piece or previously published/performed. You will also do a cold reading of a sketch.
If we do not have an audition spot for you, or you are not available for the in person auditions, you may submit a video. Please email info at imposterstheater.com for more details.
The audition committee will consist of the artistic director, show director, and one other staff member.
Actors are welcome to submit as writers as long as they can commit to all rehearsal, performance, and writers room obligations.
We are auditioning for a limited number of spots. We strive to guarantee that everyone has the opportunity to perform at Imposters Theater and we want to stress that auditions are not the only way to get involved at our theater. If you are not cast in this show, we encourage you to continue attending our free monthly sketch open mic, developing your skills in our classes and workshops, and submitting to community improv shows. PERFORMER EXPECTATIONS
The cast will rehearse 3 times a month in preparation for each monthly show. Meeting times will be determined based on performer availability.
The commitment is a run of 3 shows. Each monthly show will run approximately 35 minutes and consist of both new material and sketches from the previous month’s show.
Performers with a pattern of poor attendance, tardiness, or lack of preparation will be removed.
Performers must show they are open to notes from the show director and the Artistic Director, and be willing to work at implementing those notes.
Each performer is expected to be a supportive cast member and follow our code of conduct.
