A new kind of open mic, guided by Kadijah Wingo, this open mic is more than a stage and a mic, it’s an opportunity for reconnection. Offering a space to nurture, and revolutionize the creative arts landscape. This is a space for the first-timer and the seasoned artist, the curious and the courageous, the soft-spoken and the unapologetically expressive. A Switzerland of sorts: a neutral, non-hierarchical, judgment-free gathering where all femmes and every flavor of thems can show up authentically, feel seen, and create without fear or pretense.
Come to experiment, workshop, commune, face your fears, & most importantly transmute your thoughts & feelings into art. Here, we turn tension into transformation, strangers into community, and ideas into new beginnings.
