This six week class will touch on all the basic essentials a performer needs-- body, voice and authentic connection. We will offer exercises that strengthen the beginning actors' physicality/movement, emotional access and the power of "action." Students will develop foundational skills through classic acting exercises and scripted open scenes.
Suitable for those with limited to no acting experience.

Parking: Enter the main entrance to Urban Community School on W. 47th Street, south of Lorain Ave. Follow the driveway to the main oval parking lot in front of the red tower. You can park in any space marked with a green square. You can then follow the sidewalk to Lorain Ave.
Street parking is also available on Lorain Ave (paid) and on side streets (free).
