Do you ever feel stuck in your head during a scene? Unsure of your next move or second-guessing an idea? Well, don't worry - it’s not that serious! In this 3-hour workshop, we will focus on getting performers out of their heads and into the scene by chasing down big characters, recognizing games and finding connections through fast-paced, playful exercises that emphasize agreement and capitalize on mistakes. The audience only has fun when you have fun; so let ‘em have it!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Denver Collins is a 10+ year veteran of the Chicago improv scene. He performs weekly with his ensemble Kohl’s Cash at iO Theater and is an understudy for Second City’s National Touring Company. As a Northeast Ohio native and graduate of Kent State University, he’s excited to bring this workshop to The Land.

Parking: Enter the main entrance to Urban Community School on W. 47th Street, south of Lorain Ave. Follow the driveway to the main oval parking lot in front of the red tower.
