Announcing Fall 2026 Submissions for Imposters Theater’s Improv Rec League Teams

Submissions are due Friday, July 31st at 5 PM

Prerequisite: Completion of Improv Level 3 at Imposters Theater. 

Imposters Theater Community Rec League teams are designed to facilitate our improv 3+ graduates to join improv teams and gain experience on stage. Everyone who meets the eligibility requirements will be put on a team. 

PERFORMER EXPECTATIONS

This is a four month commitment, September-December. After those four months, new teams will be assembled for Winter/Spring.

Once formed, teams will be paired up with experienced improv coaches and rehearsal times that accommodate the cast’s schedules. 

Rec League Teams will perform once a month, every first Sunday at 7:30 PM.

Rec League Team members are asked to pay $40/month. This covers an improv coach, rehearsal space, monthly performance spots, tech, etc. 

Each improviser is expected to be a supportive team member and follow our code of conduct. 

We strive to guarantee that everyone has the opportunity to do improv at Imposters Theater. If you do not meet the eligibility requirements, we encourage you to continue attending our free jams and submitting to community shows like Improv Death Match and Dynamic Duos. We hope you’ll join Improv Rec League once you complete Improv Level 3.
